Due to his passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Dr. Capers has a heart for mission work and has traveled far and wide to fulfill this calling. His travels include:

Frankfurt, Germany (1966-67) Dr. Capers accepted Christ, and also ministered at local orphanages.

Austria (1967) Dr. Capers taught Sunday School on Base, did Personal Evangelism, and studied the Bible with the Navigators, under David Johnson.

Yucatan Peninsula of Central America (2000) Dr. Capers ministered in the villages to the Mayan Indians for ten days where 120 people were saved. He and the mission group also prayed with many sick and troubled people. During this time the Message had to be translated from English to Spanish then into the Mayan Language May-Pen.

Jamaica (2002) Dr. Capers delivered the Commencement address for the International Seminary.

Bhopal, India (2005) Dr. Capers ministered for 21 days under challenging conditions to Pastors from many villages and several cities in Northern India. He had to minister with caution for the threats are high against Christians in that particular area.

Kerala, India (2007) Dr. Capers ministered for 21 days in many churches in several cities and villages in Southern India. This area is more tolerant with Christians. Nonetheless, he and his companions had to be vigilant, because the opposition to Christianity is still intense.

Frontier, Port Maria, Jamaica (2008) Dr. Capers preached and taught there for 14 days and nights under very poor conditions where witchcraft is very active, and poverty and drug use border on the extreme. He saw many come to Christ during those days. Later that year on a follow up 12 day trip, Dr. Capers went back to baptize the new Christians in the Caribbean Sea. It is at this time that he counseled a man who was a devout Satanist, leading him to salvation and baptizing him in the name of Christ Jesus.

Dr. Capers not only supports missionary outreach through his prayers and preaching, but he also contributes financially to Christian Workers in India and Jamaica. As the president of the Charleston Chapter of The International Gospel Foundation and Fellowship of Orlando, Florida, he further supports the efforts of Christians around the world.

After almost 50 years of studying, teaching and preaching the Word of God, Dr. Alex Capers’ purpose is to live out the scriptures in Matthew 28:18-20, Christ’s Great Commission: to win souls, make disciples, and teach them to live holy, uncompromising lives without intimidation.

Matthew 28:18-20 (v 18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in Heaven and in earth. (v 19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in The Name of The Father and of The Son, and of The Holy Ghost: (v 20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I Am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. KJV
